Customer Service Representative

REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. We need an enthusiastic individual who is able to multitask and prioritize.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond promptly, efficiently and professionally to customer telephone and e-mail inquiries
Communicate with customers and/or sales reps to clarify order requirements
Communicate with shipping department to ensure smooth execution of orders.
Track orders, obtain P.O.Ds and update customers as required
Follow guidelines and policies –make discretionary calls within parameters given
Consult with supervisor when unable to resolve issues to customer’s satisfaction
Release back orders, maintain order files, maintain database system.
Experience with the apparel market segment
Other projects as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years experience in direct customer service/purchase order processing position
Strong mathematical skills
Experienced and Proficient in data entry
Strong Computer skills including but not limited to Word, Outlook, Excel

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

College Diploma or equivalent

Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Executive Assistant

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Support team through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Executive Assistant of the President and Vice President of a leading uniform apparel company, the candidate should possess the following skill set:

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn
Team player with a good sense of humor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Build solid relations and work effectively with others
Friendly, energetic, goal-oriented and success driven
Ability to work well in a demanding and dynamic environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Expense Reconciliations
Schedule and coordinate meetings; make changes as required
Assist in Manage travelling schedules, arrangements & accommodations
Manage or assist with research and obtaining of information as required
Produce weekly/monthly reports through excel
Proactively contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing processes and standards
Clerical duties including but not limited to: email communication, photocopying, scanning, mail distribution and filing
Coordinate from time to time, marketing initiatives and social media
Maintain logs and various documents using Microsoft Office.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities while maintaining accuracy of information
Computer literate / well versed in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills)
Strong command of written and oral English language
Pleasant and professional phone manner
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to follow existing procedures as well as develop an organized routine
Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset but not required
Clerical experience; within the manufacturing/textile industry is an asset but not required

Whom are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is motivated to pursue new business through customer engagement. The position will require high-level pro-activity. Though primarily an inside sales position, there will be, from time to time, customer visits and trade show attendance will be required. The successful candidate will have opportunities to progress as he/she demonstrates proficiency in the role; the expectation is to fast track to larger sales opportunities.

Follow-up on potential leads (through various communication methods)
Attend trade shows as required

Work experience requirements:

Minimum 1 years of experience
Strong sales orientation with cold calling experience a plus, but not required
Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced organization
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
