Roc\u00edo’s experience in Technical Design and Quality Control began before she was employed by COBMEX\u00ae. She had been working for a uniform sweater exporting company, where she learned about quality and design. This foundation laid the groundwork for her seamless transition into our team. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“When I joined this company,” Roc\u00edo reflects, “I started as a Quality Auditor, ensuring the standards of our products during the sample and development stages. This allowed me to understand the unique needs of COBMEX\u00ae\u2019s diverse clientele.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her COBMEX\u00ae journey stretches back 17 years, during which she collaborated closely with Hilda Mart\u00ednez, General Manager of Exportaciones PSC, our Mexico Company<\/span>.<\/span> “In the early days, it was mainly just Hilda and me in Aguascalientes,” Roc\u00edo recalls. This foundation of trust and collaboration laid the groundwork for her impactful journey within the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As the Director of Technical Design and Quality Control, Roc\u00edo’s role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities. “Setting the tone of what should be done and how it should be done,” Roc\u00edo elaborates, “encompasses the process and detail of every single product, from its inception to shipment.” This comprehensive approach is a testament to her dedication to upholding the highest standards at every stage of production.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite her many years of experience, Roc\u00edo’s understanding of the industry continues to evolve. COBMEX\u00ae’s commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements allows Roc\u00edo to continuously enhance her skills, ultimately benefiting the entire team. Even with 17 years of experience, Roc\u00edo affirms that \u201cshe continues to learn something new every day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She works in tandem with Quality, Production, and our<\/b> Factory teams, ensuring that customer requirements are met seamlessly. “From the Mexico team, I collaborate closely with Alejandra, who oversees the physical development of products, and Clara, who works directly with factory quality. I collaborate closely with the development and production teams in Toronto,” she explains, highlighting the synergy that drives success.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her leadership extends to supervising teams responsible for product development and production. When asked about the most crucial aspect of her role, Roc\u00edo emphasized “Ensuring all team members possess accurate and comprehensive information for seamless sweater production.” Her approach revolves around fostering effective communication and collaboration across various teams and departments.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Among the cherished memories she holds with the company, the experience of traveling to the COBMEX\u00ae head office in Canada for the first time stands out. Meeting colleagues face-to-face added a personal touch to the strong professional bonds she has cultivated.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Over the years, Roc\u00edo’s role has evolved from being a Quality Auditor to spearheading Technical Design and Quality Control. She now oversees the entire process, ensuring that every product meets COBMEX\u00ae’s high standards. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Roc\u00edo’s journey is a testament to her versatility. Her background in textile design, coupled with her experience in different facets of the industry, has fortified her role at COBMEX\u00ae. “Equipped with expertise in pattern making, design, and a deep understanding of knitting techniques, processes and quality standards, I am empowered to effectively lead my team,” Roc\u00edo reflects.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When asked about her favorite part of working at COBMEX\u00ae, Roc\u00edo doesn’t hesitate. “Everything,” she exclaims. Her passion for her role and the satisfaction it brings her,<\/b> shine through in her work every day. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Roc\u00edo’s superpower? “My tenacity,” she asserts. Her unwavering commitment to her work and her team is a driving force that propels COBMEX\u00ae’s success. Beyond work, Roc\u00edo’s cheerful demeanor is accompanied by a love for movies, a fun hobby that perfectly complements her personality. Her true passions, however, are her daughters, Natalia and Regina, who continue to inspire and motivate her daily.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
