Jon\u2019s Journey at COBMEX\u00ae<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Jon\u2019s story begins in Toronto, surrounded by family and friends deeply rooted in the apparel industry. After high school, Jon took time off to travel overseas, exploring new cultures and gaining valuable life experiences. Upon his return in 2004, Jon joined COBMEX\u00ae<\/sup> part-time, contemplating his future career. Though he initially aspired to be a lawyer, Jon\u2019s fascination with the uniform industry quickly took hold, setting the stage for a remarkable career. Jon\u2019s business travels took him across Asia, Europe, and North America, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of both sales and manufacturing.<\/p>\n

From Sales Representative to Sales Director and eventually Executive Vice President in 2020, Jon\u2019s rise through the ranks at COBMEX\u00ae<\/sup> was swift and impressive. Under the mentorship of Phil, President and CEO of COBMEX\u00ae<\/sup>, Jon immersed himself in the manufacturing process, learning the intricacies that make up every fiber of COBMEX\u00ae<\/sup>\u2019s uniform sweaters. \u201cPhil\u2019s mentorship has had a profound influence on me, personally, in my career, and on my leadership style. With his guidance, I have developed a strong sense of direction and purpose in my professional life,\u201d Jon explains.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his journey, Jon recalls several crucial moments, including winning the 2018 Network Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) Rising Star Award and being offered his first shares in the business by Phil. \u201cPhil offering me shares in the business was a defining moment that solidified my commitment to COBMEX\u00ae<\/sup> and the uniform industry,\u201d Jon explains.<\/p>\n
