JOB SUMMARY

Cobmex is seeking to hire a Human Resources Administrator who will perform a variety of routine and administrative duties to support the day to day activities of HR.

This role will be primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resources function, promoting company’s culture.

The ideal candidate should possess effective conflict-management skills with a strong level of ethic and professionalism. The candidate should also have strong written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities.

As a successful hire, you will consistently ensure company meets regulatory standards and implement establish HR processes and procedures. This role will escalate HR related matters to VP of Operations or his/her designate.


 

  • JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Full Cycle Recruitment: Building job descriptions, placing job advertisement online, resume screening, setting up interviews.
    • Prepares employment contracts
    • Onboarding: New hire orientation, introduction to the team and database setup
    • Creates termination paperwork and assist with exist interviews
    • Administer HR-related inquiries and serve as first contact for employee issues
    • Coordinates employee training and development including agenda preparation and distribution, as well as any HR Events focused on employee recognition/Engagement
    • Manages internal Committees
    • Maintains web portals (employee engagement, vacation tracking)
    • Payroll management
    • Creates HR calendars with important dates i.e. probationary reviews, year end reviews, etc.
    • Manage health benefit program including enrollments, changes, terminations.
    • Prepares employee reports with analytical data (head count, positions, hires, terminations, reporting supervisors, end of contracts, etc.).
    • Ensure all employee records are filed and maintained correctly and kept confidential.
    • Draft a variety of correspondence, letters, statistical summaries, reports, announcements, and other materials related to human resource administration.
    • Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action.

  • KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • College Diploma or equivalent in related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience.
    • Knowledge and exposure of labor law and employment equity regulations.
    • Relevant certification would be an asset.
    • Experience in creating organizational charts, reports, and other documents.
    • Prioritizing and planning work activities in order to manage time efficiently while managing multiple projects.
    • Knowledge of human resources processes, functions and best practices.
