How long have you been working at Cobmex and what is your position?
I have been working for Cobmex for about 2 years as Senior Product Developer & Technical Designer.
What gets you excited about coming into work everyday?
The variety of the projects and the level of technical skills that are required to achieve them always excites and challenges me daily.
Tell us about an accomplishment you are particularly proud of?
It’s difficult to single out one particular accomplishment; being able to achieve the goals I set to myself is a source of great pride in my life. I’ve built a life, a career, a family in a country where I was not born, mainly on my own terms and I have broken many personal barriers to become part of my community. I am very proud of the person I’m today.

How would you describe the culture at Cobmex?
Open-minded, friendly with a strong collaborative environment.
Who is your role model?
In terms of my career Bonnie Brooks, for everything else my mother.
If you could be anyone else for a day, who would it be?
Yves Saint Laurent, but if I have to pick someone alive then I would say Bonnie Brooks.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
Five years from now I see myself working as an expert in environment and technology as it relates to fashion. I believe the apparel industry will be forced to move away from the fast fashion approach to product development and production. New sustainable ways will be required to keep the industry efficient and competitive.
How do you overcome challenges?
Brainstorming with people around me. Sometimes having conversations with people outside of the situation gives you an opportunity to look the challenge with a different point of view.
If you had to choose a superpower, what would it be?
Everything superman has: the ability to fly, x-ray vision and muscles made of steel.
What is your favorite music type and who is your favorite artist?
I love alternative rock music; my favourite artist/band is Metallica!
