Cobmex has been a proud supporter of the Martha O’Bryan Center for the last 10 years. The Center is an anti-poverty non-profit organization that was founded in 1894, serving East Nashville and the city core. The Center whose core values are faith, hope and love provide meaningful programs to more than 10,000 individuals and families each year. Focused on high-quality public education, employment training and placement with a wrap-around family services approach. Martha O’Bryan Center works to “break the line of poverty” in Nashville.
This past year, our President, Phil Newman, and Vice-President, Jon Edberg, attended the charity Golf Tournament & Auction at the Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville. Cobmex was a Platinum Sponsor for this year’s event and the tournament raised a total of $160,000! We were thrilled to stand together with our good friends at VF Workwear Inc. and The R&R Group Inc., who have been sponsoring the Martha O’Bryan Center since 2004.
